The Role
Overview
Apprentice performs HVAC service and maintenance while receiving training and certification.

Tasks
-Through coaching and mentorship, apprentices will develop skills to troubleshoot and resolve both technical issues as well as customer needs. -Prioritize safety in all forms. -You will keep JCI, contractors, and the customer advised of job progress and issues as needed.

What You Bring
-Minimum of two (2) years of experience servicing light and heavy commercial HVAC equipment. -Attention to detail through interpersonal, digital and written skills. -Self-starter with ability to eventually work independently. -High school diploma or equivalent. -Must be willing to join, and be accepted by, the Local 155 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. -Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record. -Apprentices will be trained and will perform service on HVAC mechanical equipment and controls on client sites. -Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug test. -EPA Universal Certification -You will meet attendance requirements for required Union training for first year.
