Overview

Structural Engineer doing seismic/dynamic analysis for infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-Occasionally travel for project site visits or team meetings -Design steel, reinforced, and precast concrete structures (buildings, dams, power plants, foundations, and equipment supports) -Prepare technical design reports and calculations -Conduct linear and non-linear structural analysis, including: -Apply structural codes and standards: ACI 318/349, AISC 360/341, ASCE 4/7/43, ASME Section III, B31.1/31.3, IEEE 344, etc.

What You Bring

-Harmonic & random vibration analysis -Use software tools such as: ANSYS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, GT-Strudl, ABAQUS, Revit, AutoCAD, Mathcad, MATLAB -U.S. citizenship required (due to project scope) -Pushover analysis -Strong skills in seismic analysis and structural modeling using ANSYS -Seismic time history & response spectrum analysis -E.I.T. certification required; P.E. license preferred -Minimum 3 -5 years of structural engineering experience preferred -B.S. or M.S. in Structural or Civil Engineering (M.S. preferred) -Ability to manage multiple technical projects independently
