Tasks

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Multi-Skilled Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance activities in line with equipment and schedule attainment, developing new activities where and when required, whilst always taking into consideration health and safety standards and legislation. The role also includes project work and will support the Lead Engineers in maintaining plant and equipment, customer service requirements and required OEE. -Conduct proactive work including PPM and improvement work -Support the Lead Engineers in implementing workplace organisation across the engineering department -Maintain maintenance monitoring -To attend daily engineering steering, weekly RCA and monthly energy meetings -Contribute to implementing new working methods and actively participate in continuous improvement -Conduct day to day maintenance activities, maintaining machine availability -Mentor Apprentices within the Maintenance department -Operate in line with all health and safety standards -Implement and adhere to safe working practices in accordance with legislation

What You Bring

-Qualified Engineer with experience in a manufacturing environment (electrical bias preferred) -Strong technical knowledge of: Injection Moulding, Extrusion and Automated Assembly Systems -Excellent communication skills across all mediums, with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders -Actively and analytically fault find -Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities
