The Role

Overview

Serve, maintain, and repair utility‑scale PV inverters, BESS and PCS across US sites.

Tasks

-Provide detailed daily reports on work performed during the day -Troubleshoot errors on PV Inverters, BESS and PCS Equipment and auxiliary systems. -Travel onsite to resolve technical issues and provide remote technical assistance to resolve incidents on Photovoltaic (PV) central Inverters, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Power Conversions Systems (PCS) Equipment and auxiliary systems.

What You Bring

-Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. Preference given to candidates fluent in English and Spanish -Ability to frequently perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching approximately 75% of the time while on solar farm sites; ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment. Ability to frequently lift items weighing up to 60 pounds and to occasionally lift items weighing between 60 and 100 pounds. -NFPA 70E and OSHA 10 certified and ability to operate forklift and replace inverter components in the field -Remote follow-up of the general operation of teams with the ability to prevent future errors -Ability to read and understand Electrical, Mechanical, and Hydraulic Schematic Diagrams and experience using Microsoft 365 Office Package, Jira, and VPNs. -High School diploma or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining PV Inverters, BESS, PCS, or similar equipment with utility scale solar inverter or wind convertor experience is required. -Attention to safety support zero harm culture and ability to understand and communicate safety precautions when necessary.
