Maintain a limited inventory of materials, parts and supplies necessary for testing operations.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
Assist with packaging, loading and unloading of equipment and supplies.
Assemble, disassemble and modify test articles including installing or modifying wiring and control circuits according to provided design drawings.
Record and document test results accurately and comprehensively.
Fabricate and install new parts made of steel and copper or aluminum busbar.
Ensure a safe work environment and adhere to all applicable safety standards and protocols.
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of testing equipment and facilities.
Assist Test Engineers in conducting tests on low and medium voltage power distribution equipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D engineering, manufacturing engineering and quality teams to drive product improvements and resolve technical issues.
Assemble and set up test equipment and instrumentation according to specifications and test plans.
Identify and troubleshoot issues during testing procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory area. Assist with general facility upkeep.

Basic understanding of electrical principles and testing methodologies. Or the ability to learn quickly.
Excellent computer skills and an ability to quickly learn new software tools and systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite a must.
Certification or Associate’s degree in a technical field.
Ability to interpret design drawings and electrical schematics.
Experience with safely loading, unloading and handling large equipment and machinery using sit-down lift trucks.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with an ability to assemble, disassemble and modify equipment with limited instruction using a variety of hand and power tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Test Technician or similar role in a testing, manufacturing or service environment.
Experience fabricating metal parts using press brakes, shears, and forming/bending machines is preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical principles and power distribution concepts.
