Manage highway/roadway engineering projects, client relations, and team coordination.

Tasks

-Independently coordinate work of engineers and balance planning team throughout entire project' s development -Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance -Conduct work sessions for design development and contract documents in conjunction with other staff -Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings -Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule -Coordinate workload throughout entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule -Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed -Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline engineering projects or large, routine projects

What You Bring

-Professional Engineer (PE) license -Local candidates preferred -MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus) -Experience in marketing including preparing presentations and technical proposals -Bachelor's degree in Engineering -FDOT and Florida local government experience -Demonstrated strong communication skills -Minimum of 7 years of post-registration (PE) experience on roadway engineering projects -A minimum 2 years project management experience -Demonstrated leadership skills -7 years related experience -Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
