Tasks

We're looking for Maintenance Technician to help keep our vibrant student accommodation site in Canberra running smoothly. Based on site, you’ll be a key part of our supportive, close-knit team, playing a hands-on role in delivering a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment for our residents. In this role, you’ll handle a variety of tasks across administration, and management of interior and exterior building areas, including immediate repairs, scheduled maintenance, and statutory compliance works. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, you’ll gain valuable experience and mentoring across all aspects of facilities management. -Help keep the community clean, tidy, and looking its best. -Keep track of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies. -Carry out regular safety checks and basic preventative maintenance. -Keep accurate records of safety tests and make sure systems like fire alarms and emergency lighting are inspected on schedule. -Provide great customer service to residents and respond to maintenance emergencies when needed. -Get vacant units ready for new residents by completing repairs and checks. -Work with contractors and vendors to make sure jobs are done properly and on time. -Find and fix maintenance issues safely and in line with company policies and standards.

What You Bring
