Lead roadway department, manage projects, staff, budgets, and client relations.

Tasks
-Helps with coordinating and resolving technical issues which need the clients’ input and decision making -Estimates Department manpower needs and assigns work to meet project milestone dates. -Supervises and directs team leaders, engineers, and technicians -Supervises and responsible for roadway staff, time sheet and related approvals, annual reviews, etc. -Accentuates work through professional development. Encourages and is responsible for professional development of office or staff. -Responsible for all common PM duties – scoping and negotiating fees, scheduling, budget tracking, monitoring QC comments and client review comments -Assists in planning and developing engineering projects and the coordination of project concepts -Work on award winning projects with award winning people -Regulates project budgets and schedules and provides input for contractual requirements and adjustments. -Oversees the coordination work between various disciplines and subconsultants completing work on the project -Assists with marketing efforts - project identification, client visits, proposals, and presentations -Oversees all Roadway Department activities -Main contact between Roadway Dept., clients and subconsultants

What You Bring
-10+ years of experience -PE required -Supported by 50+ PEs in five other Florida offices and 95+ PEs nationally -Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Strong foundation in highway design principles and concepts
