  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the technical lead for assigned systems within nuclear facility design projects
  • Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration: Ensure system designs meet project requirements, regulatory standards, and client expectations. Support design reviews, hazard analyses, and technical evaluations
  • Client Relationship Management: Interface with vendors and subcontractors to ensure technical compliance and quality. Provide technical input during project planning, scheduling, and budgeting phases
  • System Design Documentation: Develop and maintain system design documentation including System Requirements Documents (SRDs), System Design Descriptions (SDDs), system-level drawings and schematics, system sizing and performance calculations, equipment design specifications, and procurement packages
  • Engineering Leadership & Guidance: Mentor design group engineers in new system design processes

  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency required
  • Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
  • Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, codes, and standards applicable to nuclear facility design
  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US without requiring current or future sponsorship.
  • 6+ years of experience in system design or modifications, preferably within the nuclear industry
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's Degree -OR- industry recognized certification and 8 years' applicable experience
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to com pany and client policies.
  • Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks
