Tasks
-Conduct site investigations and technical research to support design decisions. Evaluate and mitigate project risk. -Build and develop internal and external relationships -Plan and conduct evaluation and site observation. Perform Quality Control for projects by reviewing project documents, specifications, and design options; ensure code compliance through meetings and reviews. Make recommendations based on findings. Apply standard engineering practices and software tools to produce high-quality deliverables. -Provides leadership and guidance for staff on project assignments. Manages and perform system design, including calculations, equipment selection, layout, and drawing preparation. Lead and contribute to overall engineering analysis and solutions. -Lead efforts on key projects as lead engineer responsible for the overall vision, quality and implementation. Partner with leadership to vision, plan and implement strategic initiatives, quality requirements and policy.

What You Bring
-Large project experience required. Project experience in healthcare and/or federal work is preferred -Mechanical PE license required -Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency using load, system sizing, and energy modeling software required -Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately -Minimum 15 years’ experience in mechanical engineering on a wide variety of projects within the A/E industry -Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills -Ability to plan and distribute workload and lead a production team of mechanical engineers and designers -Production experience preparing deliverable drawing sets in Revit MEP and AutoCAD required -Demonstrated practical knowledge of codes and related industry standards (Energy, LEED, ASHRAE, etc.) -ABET-accredited degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a mechanical emphasis
