Operate reprographic equipment, manage print jobs, and ensure timely, quality output.

Tasks
-Carry out inventory checks and maintain stock control, ordering paper stock, inks and consumables. -Collate and maintain a spreadsheet of the monthly output, reporting figures to Line Manager. -General husbandry of the working environment and equipment to include interaction with maintenance providers when defects are identified. -Ensure all activities are carried out in full compliance with current Health and Safety Regulations, Copy Right and the General Data Protection Regulations. -Produce finished documents to the customer's specifications as instructed on the Job Sheet including document collation, paper-folding, guillotining, stapling, bookmaking, binding and laminating. -Produce printed or electronic documents by means of digital printing or document scanning. -Operate and undertake general maintenance of reprographic equipment i.e., change toner, clear paper jams, etc. -Discuss jobs with the internal Graphic Design Team to ensure work is completed to the clients' specifications. -Discuss jobs with the customer to ensure work is completed to the required standard and on time. -The role of the Reprographics Operative is responsible for the operation of all reprographic equipment and to provide an efficient reprographic service, scheduling and prioritising job requests. The post holder will be responsible for the successful provision and delivery of Reprographic support services to meet the needs of the customer at HMNB Clyde.

What You Bring
-Excellent organisational skills, with strong customer service focus and experience of working to tight deadlines. -Ability to manage short notice changes to requirements and deadlines. -A good understanding of reprographics technology. -IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office applications and the ability to learn new software systems. -The successful candidate will be well-organised, precise, confident with credible communication skills readily able and willing to contribute at all levels. In addition, the individual will be versatile, intuitive, and professional with good judgement and absolute integrity. Pro-active and persuasive when required and responsive to changing needs of the business and demands of the customer, while remaining calm under pressure and self-motivated, the incumbent will be reliable and well presented, giving a positive image of MITIE company values. In addition, the following is needed: -A strong team player and able to use own initiative to problem solve. -Credible verbal and written communicator with the ability to develop close working relationships.
