Overview

Install, repair, and maintain underground water and sewer systems.

Tasks

-Assist with the installation and repair of water and sewer lines -Follow directions from the crew leader or foreman and complete assigned tasks -Work closely with equipment operators and other crew members -Operate and maintain basic construction tools and equipment -Set up and remove traffic control and safety signage as needed -Assist with pipe laying, backfilling, and compaction -Maintain a clean and organized job site -Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and utility locates -Ensure proper trench safety and follow all OSHA guidelines

Requirements

What You Bring

-Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred but not required -Minimum 1–2 years of experience in underground utilities or related construction work -Ability to work overtime or travel as needed -Ability to use hand tools and small equipment safely and effectively -Strong work ethic and willingness to learn -Knowledge of water and sewer systems and basic installation methods -Must be able to lift 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
