Virtual Design Coordinator

Tasks

-Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds -Communicate with the project manager to determine model setup configuration and understand project scope requirements -Complete model maintenance as necessary applying best practices and standards -Run clash detection reports, resolve clashes, and participate in the BIM coordination process -Review working models and PDF deliverables for compliance with modeling and documentation standards -Manage project folder organization, file sharing, and file archival between IMEG disciplines and all external partners -Follow established standards for modeling and production of drawings and are of quality acceptable to the company -Review effectiveness and validate current standards and procedures -Provide team specific support for Virtual Design software/programs, escalating as needed -Coordinate models and workflow between members of the design team -Identify and lead team specific training and education needs for standards and BIM/Virtual Design tools -Work to standardize workflows and practices between offices and teams -Lead and attend project meetings with clients and consultants, including BIM project kickoff meetings

What You Bring

-Strong Revit knowledge with emphasis on project setup and model management -Will have limited exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noises -Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer -Revit experience required -Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of technical plans and models preferred -Occasionally required to drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands or arms and grasp or pull -Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times -Ability to troubleshoot Revit/design software issues -4 years of experience minimum, 5 preferred, or equivalent -Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook -Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues and clients -Associate degree or certificate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) preferred -High level of professionalism
