The Role
Overview
Design, improve, and ensure compliance of HSE processes for US/Canada ops.

Tasks
-Develop and deliver training materials and communications to promote HSE awareness and compliance. -Coordinate emergency preparedness and response planning across sites. -Collaborate with site teams to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. -Support internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting for both U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions. -Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics and prepare Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports for leadership. -Maintain and improve documentation and reporting systems (e.g., incident tracking, audits, corrective actions). -Lead the design and optimization of HSE processes, systems, and workflows to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. -Partner with HSE leadership and cross-functional teams to implement safety programs, environmental initiatives, and health protocols. -Stay current with HSE regulations – Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), provincial standards, and recommend updates to policies and procedures.

What You Bring
-Experience with process mapping, documentation, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). -Familiarity with HSE principles, standards, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., OSHA, WHMIS, EPA), preferred. -Minimum three (3) years of experience in process improvement, operations, or compliance-related roles, required. -Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment. -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, required. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization and efficiency. -Up to 30% domestic and/or international travel, required. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
