The Role

Overview

Lead water resources projects, manage teams, develop business, mentor engineers.

Tasks

-Lead and deliver projects and proposals across the full project lifestyle, including but not limited to flood risk management studies, hydrological and hydraulic modelling studies and flood impact and mitigation assessments. -You will guide and mentor engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline whilst focusing on technical excellence. -Build and maintain strong relationships working with various clients across a range of sectors. -Help drive the implementation of AECOM’s Australia/New Zealand Water Resources Strategy.

What You Bring

-Proven ability to lead complex projects and multidisciplinary teams, using strong commercial acumen and business analysis skills to deliver successful outcomes. -A relevant tertiary degree, CPEng and extensive consulting engineering experience in the water resources sector and on major infrastructure projects. -Strong understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic modelling (e.g. TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, RORB) and ARR2019. -Demonstrated experience in identifying new innovative business development opportunities and turning these into wins.
