General Maintenance Technician

On‑site maintenance technician handling repairs, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and on‑call emergencies.

Tasks

-Mounting TVs and equipment -Respond to emergency maintenance issues and support on-call HVAC technicians. -Inspection of Fire Extinguishers and Emergency Lighting, HVAC Knowledge a plus, drywall repair, light plumbing, inspect restrooms, (fix or replace toilets/faucets), Fix gates, doors), -Perform general building maintenance including: -Room setup and support for meetings -Act as the go-to resource for facility-related requests from staff. -Maintain a proactive approach to building upkeep and service delivery. -Serve as the primary technician on-site at the designated facility.

What You Bring

-Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. -Ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems (no certification required, but familiarity is essential). -Skilled in basic plumbing, electrical, and general handyman tasks. -Excellent communication and customer service skills. -Basic electrical work -Basic landscaping knowledge and experience (ie: planting seasonal flowers; operate leaf blower on sidewalks/paths etc.). -This role requires on-call availability for emergencies, including nights and weekends. -Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing are a plus but not required. -Proven experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
