Overview
Lead civil installation design for rail signalling project, ensuring budget, quality, safety.

Tasks
-Foster an environment that promotes continuous learning and skills enhancement of the team. -Manage internal Engineering discipline interface (comms and signalling). -Ensure capitalization and sharing of knowledge. -Contribute to the assessment of risks and the establishment of effective controls. -Ensure efficiency through standardization of installation design procedures. -Elaborate, propose, and control the project delivery budget in accordance with the company strategy. -Optimize competences, workloads, and resources management according to Company and market trends. -Coordinate the surveys in brown field projects to finalize cable routing layout installation design for construction -Provide valuable technical advice to the Engineering Design Manager, ensuring that designs meet standards and maintainability expectations. -Expertly apply Civil design principles, adhering to industry standards and engineering best practices, to include detailed drawings for construction, design reports, engineering calculations. -Ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.

What You Bring
-Demonstrate the ability to deliver comprehensive Civil & Installation design packages such as signalling & communications infrastructure, formation, earthworks, and drainage. -Agile mindset, able to take prompt decisions in a challenging environment. -Proven experience in successfully managing civil design projects in Rail. -Ability to form and build key stakeholder relationships. -Ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. -RPEQ (Civil/Installation) mandatory -Ability to analyse data and draw insights to inform decision-making. -Strong project management skills to execute initiatives successfully. -An understanding of the rail safety act and the regulatory environment. -Ability to work and lead in a multicultural environment. -8+ years of hands-on Civil design experience. -Familiar with installation principals within a railway environment. -Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering.
