Tasks
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the supervising, directing and coordinating the construction and associated project management of electric utility construction projects. The Project Manager acts as the single point of management responsibility from project pre-planning to total construction administration services, participating in the development of processes, procedures, and systems to deliver projects to our customers on schedule and within budget. The Senior Project Manager manages the day-to-day duties of Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers. -Ensure that projects are created and archived in YARDZ - coordinate with Fleet Managers to maintain accuracy. -Review project budgets as needed to ensure timeliness and fiscal responsibility and communicate those revise budget to the affected parties. -Ensure completed projects are closed out (final invoicing, lessons learned, close-out subcontracts/PO's). -Responsible for change order pricing and submission. -Oversee the creating project budgets, tracking of expenditures, invoicing, revenue and cost accrual, and creation of project timesheet. -Develop and oversee the creation of project plans and schedules. -Verify and approve subcontractor and vendor invoicing. -Serve as customers’ main point of contact for client communication, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout project lifespan. -Analyze reports to identify potential and actual risks and make recommendations and decisions. -Oversee project forecasting for regional construction projects, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness. -Work with sub-contractors to establish contracts and coordinate resources and billing. -Initiate and maintain relationships with prime clients and contacts in order to facilitate construction activities and identify and obtain additional project opportunities. -Coordinate with field leadership, Estimating, Safety, and other departments to ensure the successful completion of projects. -Monitor project progress, identify issues and delays, and implement actions. -Oversee the preparation of risk registers. -Manage all aspects of project execution (scope, schedule, safety, subcontracts). -Meet with Field Leadership to develop work plans and review performance. -Oversee the preparation of reports, including cost reports and regional financial reports. -Review customer contracts and make recommendations to Executive Management. -Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to Project Management team members to foster their growth and career advancement to include the establishment of training pathways for each program listed above. -Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements across all projects by team members and subcontractors. -Perform site visits to meet and collaborate with crews and field leadership. -Review and approve internal and external reports including project budgeting, project cash flow forecast, and project status reports. -Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence throughout the regional organization.

What You Bring
TRAVEL REQUIRED: Moderate -Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects concurrently with good time management. -Ability to identify and solve issues. -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. -Strong experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. -7+ Years of project management experience in the electrical construction field ( in addition to the educational equivalency). -Ability to maintain confidentiality. -Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent knowledge or skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience. -Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. -Ability to conducts self in an appropriate manner as a representative of SEC, working effectively in a diverse work environment. -Organized with a strong attention to detail. -Strong written and verbal communication skills.
