Overview
Perform sample prep, analytical testing & data management to support environmental compliance.

Tasks
-Adhere to quality systems, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives; -Document all work clearly, maintaining traceable laboratory records; -Review and interpret results to ensure accuracy and completeness; -Enter and manage data in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) or other designated systems; -Grow hands-on skills in analytical instrumentation, Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), and advanced testing methods; -Participate in cross-training to support workload balance and operational needs; -Assist with general laboratory housekeeping, glassware cleaning, inventory, and supply management; -Perform sample preparation and analytical testing in accordance with approved methods and established protocols to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance; -Join a team where your contributions directly support public safety, regulatory standards, and cleaner environments. -Perform routine equipment checks, troubleshooting, calibrations, and preventative maintenance; -Follow and promote Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and all health, safety, and environmental standards; -Perform on the front line of environmental analysis by generating analytical data to support environmental compliance and decision-making; -Develop and maintain proficiency with a broad range of analytical equipment, laboratory software platforms, and technology relative to assigned analyses;

What You Bring
-Strong accountability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team; -Must be able to work 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. or 12:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. shifts for 1–1.5 weeks per month, reverting to a standard 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule for the remainder of the month; -Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat. -Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills; -Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related area strongly preferred; Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree; -Ability to manage and process high volumes of samples efficiently; -Previous hands-on experience in a professional or academic lab setting strongly preferred;
