Tasks

As the leader, you’ll serve as the executive point of accountability for operational performance, business development, and client success within Florida’s CEI discipline. You will set vision, strategy, and standards - ensuring every project reflects the firm’s commitment to quality, innovation, and integrity. Your leadership will guide multiple geographic teams, fostering collaboration, resource optimization, and a culture of excellence. You’ll also play a central role in market expansion, cultivating relationships with agencies such as FDOT districts, transportation authorities, counties, and municipalities. -Drive business development and client engagement strategies to strengthen market position. -Manage operational performance, profitability, and resource alignment across offices. -Champion professional development and succession planning across the CEI group. -Provide strategic direction and executive oversight of CEI operations across Florida. -Lead regional discipline managers and technical teams toward unified performance goals. -Represent the firm as a trusted advisor and thought leader in transportation and infrastructure delivery.

What You Bring

An established, nationally respected engineering and consulting firm is seeking an accomplished Regional Leader to oversee and advance its Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) operations across Florida. -Demonstrated leadership in managing complex teams and large-scale infrastructure programs. -Strong experience working with FDOT or similar transportation agencies. -Exceptional communication, decision-making, and leadership skills. -Proven ability to drive business growth, operational excellence, and strategic partnerships. -Willingness to travel within Florida to engage with regional teams and clients. -20+ years of progressive experience in transportation construction, CEI, or related disciplines. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
