CCTV Drainage Engineer

Overview

Trainee performs CCTV drainage surveys, learns inspection and reporting.

Tasks

-Receive training to use industry-standard software (e.g. WinCan) to help produce reports and condition assessments -Assist in emergency response situations where drainage issues or flooding occur -Support in identifying drainage issues such as blockages, structural defects, infiltration, and root ingress -Help maintain and check equipment to ensure everything is ready for daily operations -Work under the guidance of senior engineers to understand survey requirements and data collection methods -Assist in operating CCTV equipment to inspect foul and surface water drainage systems -Work in line with standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental guidelines

What You Bring

-Learn how to complete job sheets, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS) with supervision -Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points) -Good communication and teamwork skills -A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to work outdoors in all conditions -Basic computer skills and a desire to learn new software -Be trained in confined space entry procedures and work safely as part of a team (training and certification provided)
