Tasks

-Participate in client meetings and job site visits to collect or deliver design and engineering data -Support the development of detailed contracts, manage scopes of work, oversee change orders, and assist with project closeouts -Lead, direct and mentor less experienced team members -Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams -Leverage existing industry relationships to help grow the firm’s renewable energy client base -Perform necessary calculations and review the preliminary design of facilities and equipment for generation collection, substation, and transmission related facilities including physical arrangements -Prioritize engineering tasks and team deliverables to ensure quality, safety and customer satisfaction while adhering to schedule and budget

What You Bring

-Minimum of 12 years of experience in distribution, substation, and/or transmission line engineering, with a strong emphasis on substation design -Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail -Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering -Professional Engineer (PE) registration is strongly preferred -Prior consulting experience is preferred -Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Proficiency in electrical design and analysis software
