Project Equipment Manager - Kiewit Equipment Services

Manage planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reliability of equipment fleet.

Tasks

-Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Ensure crews understand and comply with all federal, state, and company health, safety, and environmental requirements. -Use reliability and failure analysis data to increase equipment availability and reliability. -Interpret parts and service manuals for proper and timely diagnosis and repairs. -Train and mentor entry level positions. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Establish and maintain communications between all levels of supervision and management -Lift 50lbs, access equipment including tower cranes. -Ensure accurate record keeping of daily tasks performed by maintenance team. -Long/short range equipment planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

-Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment -Strong work ethic – Willing to do what it takes to get the job done. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Strong organizational, time management and communication skills. -Ability to freely access all points of a construction or mining site in wide-ranging climates and environment. -Knowledge of CAD modeling programs is preferred -Undergraduate degree in Diesel/Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Construction Management. -SAP and Microsoft experience preferred. -Willingness to work in both office and field environments -5+ years of equipment related experience. -Regular, reliable attendance -Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on multiple projects at once while prioritizing tasks -Must be willing to travel and relocate as required
