Maintenance Technician I (AP Lofts)

Overview

Perform maintenance tasks across apartments, common areas, and grounds at AP Lofts.

Tasks

-Assist in preparing vacant apartments for market ready status in accordance to company standards. -Perform repairs in such areas as, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting and basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC. -Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping and trash management activities. -Be available for on call activity during off hours and emergencies based on a pre-determined schedule and need. -Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating procedures.

What You Bring

-General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and/or carpentry. -Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities. -Excellent customer service skills. -CAMT certification. -A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy. -Availability for on-call activity during off hours for urgent needs. -Good communication and interpersonal skills. -Basic familiarity with computers and tablets. -1-3 years of relevant work experience in residential maintenance. -High school diploma or GED equivalent. -Ability to speak and understand basic English.
