Senior Finance Specialist, Accounts Payable

Tasks

-Lead accounts payable process improvements and automation -Perform daily transactions as per standard operating procedures -Process weekly A/P payments for multiple properties ensuring that all deadlines are met -Responsible for updating SOPs and process maps -Preparing Bank Reconciliations -Provide backup support and engage in solutions to user problems to ensure user satisfaction and productivity. -Ensure service delivery as agreed norms and SLAs -Invoice Processing both PO & Non-PO invoices -Understand and comply with all JLL A/P policies and procedures -Review various types of Payment requests including data entry in Yardi & Zendesk -Assist accountants and controllers with A/P issues or problems as they arise -Preparing & posting Month end accrual entries -Responsible for processing and monitoring vendor invoices and on-time payment performance within the agreed timeline and accuracy as per the Service Level Agreement. -Communication with internal and external accountants and requestors when needed -Establish & Manage client relationships through regular engagement with the client -Provide floor support in the absence of a supervisor -Perform root cause analysis to drive process improvements -Answer property inquiries via internal systems like Zendesk and Outlook email -Review all daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure that data is processing correctly per SLA and corporate policy. -Verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records -Perform the day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure that multiple finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner -Assist in training new A/P employees as needed -Support and engage in solutions to user problems to ensure user satisfaction and productivity

What You Bring

-Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning client financial data. -Minimum 4-6 years of experience in an electronic accounts payable processing environment in MNC -Excellent SME knowledge of accounting concepts -Strong Finance background, Commerce graduate or Postgraduate is preferred. -Knowledge of AP month-end activities (Open & Close Period) -Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in processing vendor invoices. -Fair understanding of deduction & filing of withholding tax -Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment -A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills -Should have extensive knowledge of two way & three-way match -Strong Excel & Domain Knowledge -Strong Accounting Knowledge, Communication, and Analytical Skills -Ability to work overtime when required -Knowledge of real estate accounting A/P systems desirable including Enterprise One and Yardi -Experience of P&L monthly variance analysis
