Tasks

-Directs and supervises work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, etc. -Ensures a team creates a closeout plan in alignment with the contract documents -Assumes overall accountability for meeting contract requirements -Responsible for the career development and coaching of team members -Drive Team Accountability - Determine priorities and delegate work; monitor and communicate progress. Establish measures to assess the impact, quality and timeliness of results; praise success and learn from mistakes. -Provides leadership in motivating the project team(s) and maintains a positive work environment -Build High Performing Teams - Attract, select, develop, recognize, and retain talented individuals. Utilize motivation and discipline to maximize performance and impact on the organization. -Assumes overall accountability for jobsite safety -Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members -Assumes overall accountability and leads the team with effective communication and prioritization to ensure focus and discipline to meet the project schedule -Assumes overall accountability of subcontracting strategy and the integrity of the buyout process at project level -Coach and Develop Others - Provide feedback, instruction, and development guidance to help others excel in their current or future job responsibilities. Plan for and support development of individual skills and abilities. -Ensures team creates a project-specific quality plan aligned with the owner contract and contract documents -Develops a comprehensive understanding of the local market areas and profiles to create and lead a networking strategy -Verifies the accuracy of project financial forecast, notice provisions, and billings to meet contract requirements potential claims; escalates to leadership of unresolved deviations -Negotiates all aspects of contracts, leads implementation of risk mitigation plan, final review of draft contracts, agreements, and purchase orders -Coordinates all preconstruction services ensuring alignment with contractual obligations; reviews and approves all deliverables to Owner and design team -Assumes overall accountability to ensure project compliance with the insurance and bonds -Interprets and translates the organizational strategy, ensuring team understanding of their role in accomplishing strategic goals

What You Bring

-10-15 years of experience -Strong technical and communication skills are critical -Large-scale healthcare construction experience is required for this role -Leadership and management skills -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management -Leverage Business Insights – Understand and act on industry trends, local market and economic conditions and our business model to make decisions and create competitive advantage. -Ability to work in a team environment -AHCA background is strongly preferred -Knowledge of industry standard software, Microsoft Office (preferred) -Or equivalent combination of education and experience -Display Emotional Intelligence - Demonstrate the capacity to recognize feelings and patterns of behavior and those of others. Manage emotions effectively in ourselves and our relationships.
