Tasks
You’ll report to the Head of Operations, working side-by-side our Technical Customer Success Managers. Join our fast-growing SaaS team as an Environmental Solutions Engineer. If you specialize in air quality and noise and enjoy solving technical challenges, this role is for you. You'll work hands-on with our industrial software—configuring environments, building tools, and collaborating across teams to deliver tailored, reliable solutions that meet customer needs. -Setting up and managing operational meteorological and air quality models (WRF, CALMET, CALPUFF) -Developing customer-specific functionality such as automated alerts, dashboards, and reporting (JavaScript, Power BI) -Providing technical support and troubleshooting across software, hardware, and modelling issues -Conducting statistical analysis of customer datasets and developing site-specific models (R, Python) -Installing, configuring, and maintaining environmental monitoring hardware (air quality and noise) -Configuring and tailoring customer software instances using in-house tools -Supporting the Customer Success Team in engaging with customers where necessary

If you're curious, adaptable and open to using AI to improve how you work, you’ll thrive at Ideagen! -A degree in engineering (environmental, chemical, mechanical, or related) -Use of AI tools to streamline analysis and workflows -Familiarity with SaaS platforms or configuration tools -A strong communicator who builds trusted relationships with customers and colleagues -A problem solver who thrives on technical variety -2–4 years of experience in air quality (with noise as a strong secondary skill) -Entry-level coding or scripting (Python, JavaScript) -Comfortable taking ownership and driving issues to resolution -Experience with meteorological and air quality modelling (WRF, CALMET, CALPUFF) -Strong statistical/analytical skills (R, Python) -Practical experience with environmental monitoring hardware
