Tasks

-Review the compiled post project evaluation prior to final evaluation by Sub-contract Committee -Post project evaluation of sub-contractors -Ensure the map out of sub-contractors workload to be done in advance with Production Department and to be of fair distribution -To manage subcontractors according to their sponsorship classifications, in areas of: -Assessing the adequacies of project values -Tracking the progress of foreign workers’ recruitment -Processing documents pertaining to work commencement and payment claims i.e. job cards, works orders, etc -Lead and devise improvement initiatives for existing processes, policies and procedures -Assist Project Management on claims assessment for original/ variation workscope, including compilation and reporting of sub-contract cost -Issuing commendations or warning letters to contractors according to their performance and levels of compliance -Maintain a list of reliable sub-contractors to complement the organization workforce through: -Screening and registration of new sub-contractors -Prepare commercial terms/ bid analysis and negotiate with sub-contractors, if necessary -Handling of contractors’ delinking matters -Review subcontractors’ applications/renewals for foreign workers’ permits -Conducting periodical interviews remotely or at different locations if permitted, e.g., work sites, dormitories, etc -Ensure all relevant Quality Assurance Procedures and SOPs are always observed -Tracking the local workers employment activities -Reviewing of findings from dormitories’ inspections -Liaise with the internal department stakeholders as well as sub-contractors both in-house and out of yard -Assessing the dependency ratio -Ensure the coordination of all sub-contracting work for specific projects are in place -Conducting regular interviews to obtain workers’ feedbacks -Prepare reports and presentations for management reviews, if required -Ensure adequate information/ requirements are supplied for sub-contractors’ tenders
