Process Engineer - CIP TECHNICAL LEAD

Tasks

-Create cleaning cycle development strategies for a variety of equipment including process vessels and lines, chromatography skid/column, UF/DF skid, centrifuge, glass/parts washers, and portable processing equipment. -Provide subject matter expertise to key engineering projects to startup and cycle development projects. -Advises and answers a variety of technical questions. -Perform batch record review, including verifying calibration and in-process data. -Reviews engineering specifications for compliance with ordinances and engineering requirements. -Perform commissioning and provide automation support for CIP systems, including PLC and SCADA/Delta V systems. -Directs other employees in the execution of a variety of projects. -Consult with clients/vendors as a department representative regarding major problems or developments. -Perform piping design and flow calculations for CIP systems. -Consult with clients/vendors as a department representative regarding major problems or development. -Prepares periodic reports and records.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with engineering project management. -Familiarity with plant control software, including PLC and SCADA/Delta V systems. -Experience with CIP cycle runs -A minimum of ten (10) years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience or in a GMP Environment and BS in chemical engineering or related field. -Experience with CIP change parameters and parameter adjustment -Experience with: CIP cycle development, cleaning validation, protocol development, execution, troubleshooting, and summary reports. -Experience with CIP shakedowns and troubleshooting -Strong verbal and written communication skills. -Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office products.
