The Role
Overview
Manage and coordinate maintenance support services for Royal Australian Navy maritime sustainment.

Tasks
-Manage programmatic assurance reports over the Stage Gate 1 to 6 end to end processes. -Manage Technical Investigations on defects and key systems as required. -Manage the review and monitoring of maintenance activities. -Provision of maintenance status reports and Technical Work Instruction development. -Manage Technical Work Instruction development. -Manage the analysis of continuous schedule risk as an assurance activity to the planning, scheduling in accordance with the Stage Gate exit points IPT’s, EMP IPT’s and PEB’s. -Manage and coordinate the Maintenance Support Services in accordance with the approved plan. -Analysis of continuous schedule risk as an assurance activity -Provide assurance activities of the Annual, One plus One and Five-Year Work Programs -Manage the review and assurance of TPCCs and associated progress reporting metrics. -Conduct Technical Investigations on defects and key systems as required.

What You Bring
-As a minimum, recognised Vocational Education and Training qualification (Minimum AQF 5) in product relevant Technical Trade or Engineering disciplines. -Prior experience as a Waterfront Engineer or Ship Superintendent – Defence (desirable). -Experience in Project and Contract Management -Engineering degree or maritime competences & trade skills (desirable). -10+ years relevant experience in a Defence maintenance role of which 2 have been in maintenance leadership roles.
