Perform tachograph testing, calibration, installation and vehicle electrical maintenance.

Tasks

-To ensure that security procedures are followed in relation to secure storage of tachograph equipment and data. -To conduct the role within as directed by the company and within the guidelines outlined within the group rules and policies. -To carry out general inspection and servicing work on a variety of vehicles. -To carry out diagnosis and fault repairs on Euro 6 vehicles, engine, air suspension and brake systems. -To assist with the fitting out of vehicles with electrical equipment to include lights, camera systems etc. -To carry out tachograph testing, calibration and installation work.

What You Bring

-Full driving licence. -Proficient IT skills. -NVQ level 3 Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician or equivalent. -Good understanding of wiring principles/practices. -Professional and approachable. -The ability to ‘think on your feet’ and use of initiative. -Excellent organisational skills. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Ability to work independently. -The ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative. -Flexible and reliable. -Keen interest in vehicles and vehicle maintenance. -Minimum 1 years post apprenticeship experience in a varied environment.
