The Role
Overview
Perform retrofits, maintenance, and service of HVAC, AC, and fire systems on ships.

Tasks
-Prepare detailed service reports after each visit and completion of work on ships. -Maintenance of air handling equipment, heat exchangers, reciprocating and screw compressors -Execution of retrofits, AMC, and service activities for AC & Refrigeration, HVAC, and Fire Systems in Karwar Yard -Servicing AC plants, Air Handling Units, Heat Exchangers, Ventilation Fans -Interpret manuals, P&ID diagrams, and drawings to troubleshoot AC and HVAC systems. -Communicate and coordinate effectively with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of tasks. -Analyze onboard logbook data to diagnose defects.

What You Bring
-Air balancing and chilled water balancing for HVAC systems -Experience in: -Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering -Working knowledge of: -Understand control philosophies and execute AMC and retrofit projects effectively. -Firefighting systems (AFDS, CO₂ systems, water mist, etc.) -Strong communication skills and ability to write comprehensive service reports. -Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in servicing HVAC and AC systems.
