Tasks

-Maintain inventory control by continuous tracking and inventory updates. -Use identification tags, stamps, electric making tools, or other labeling equipment to mark all goods. -Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. -Unpack delivered goods and store in appropriate location until issue. -Notify appropriate department when ordered item has arrived or deliver to appropriate department. -Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment. -Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers. -Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities. -Receive and count stock items, (tracking and inventory control). -Kitting Material by Job -Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. -Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

What You Bring

-Must be able to follow directions. -Must have good communication skills, including the ability to read and write effectively. -Minimum 3 years industrial maintenance experience required -Must be able to meet all physical requirements. -Formal education/degree/certificate in construction, technical or trade school -Expected to have industrial experience in a maintenance environment -Previous experience in this position with Zachry Industrial, Inc. -Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors -Demonstrated industrial maintenance history experience -Experience using industrial hand tools and power tools but not required -Ability to work with others – team player -Must have reliable transportation. -TWIC card Required -Must have reliable transportation and be flexible to work as needed -Forklift Trained -Must be able to use tools such as hammers and drills in order to open crated materials received or to crate materials that are scheduled to be shipped. -Must be organized and have the ability to complete an accurate count on items received. -Must be familiar with basic computer operations; SAP Experience needed. -Must have 4+ years’ experience working for an industrial construction project in the warehouse or equivalent material handler position -Must possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions (see below). -Must have 4+ years’ experience working for an industrial construction/maintenance/turnaround project in the warehouse or equivalent Material Handler position -Good reading comprehension -Must have working knowledge of the basic processes and equipment used in construction and on industrial plants.
