Tasks

Are you looking to grow your career in finance within a dynamic and supportive team? We are looking for two Assistant Management Accountants to join our Management Accounts team. These roles play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, supporting strong financial control across the business. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will contribute to the timely production of multi-entity management accounts and monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including high-volume bank reconciliations. You will work closely with colleagues across Finance, including Financial Control and FP&A, to ensure accurate reporting and insightful analysis. -Review and process employee and corporate credit card expenses -Prepare general ledger journals for prepayments and accruals -Prepare and format ad hoc reports and analysis as required -Support the month-end close process, including variance analysis and adjustments -Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations -Assist in producing commentary on monthly actuals vs budget/forecast -Reconcile high volumes of bank transactions weekly, coordinating with the Financial Control team -Contribute to year-end statutory accounts and audit processes -Collaborate with FP&A to resolve month-end queries

What You Bring

-Familiarity with month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations -Detail-oriented, proactive, and diligent -Understanding of accruals and prepayments -Confident using Microsoft Excel -Experience in high-volume transaction processing -Strong communication skills, both written and verbal -Currently studying or part-qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or ACA, with a clear intention to fully qualify -Property sector experience is a plus
