Tasks

-Responsible for all OSHA correspondence on the project -Act as the lead safety personnel on projects -Develop the Pre-task Analysis process -Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential safety hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with safety standards -Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety training programs and policies -Conduct training sessions, presentations, and safety orientations for new hires or subcontractors -Provide high-level safety management and offer proactive safety solutions to the project management team -Effectively manage safety risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices

What You Bring

-CHST certification required -Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred -Excellent knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment -Advanced knowledge of excavations, concrete, and steel -Familiarity with project management software (Autodesk, Procore, etc.) -Advanced certification in safety preferred (ASP, CSP, or SMP) -5+ years of experience in a construction-based health and safety role -Demonstrates advanced leadership and accountability -Excellent communication, organizational, and motivational skills -Associate degree in Safety or related field; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience may be substituted for a degree -Expert knowledge of safety policies and procedures
