Overview
Security officer ensuring safety, access control, and customer service at the property

Tasks
-Issue Banning notices to rule violators -Close loading dock doors as needed -If anyone parks illegally on the property, notify Park X, Commercial property management, and Residential property management immediately -Report any concerns to management -Ensure no property is being damaged -Access control for guests, tenants and vendors -Keep updated information (e.g., Kiss N Ride, Contact Phone #’s, Rules of Conduct) and communicate to guests as needed -Observation and reporting of safety -Conduct of routine foot patrols in and around building. -Report any unknown work that is occurring at the property to management -Maintain the appearance of the two plaza kiosks -Maintain file for Ban Notices and notify management when necessary -Enforce the “no dogs on the plaza” policy -Complete hourly patrol route of the property using the security system -Communicate to guests that we must keep the fire access areas accessible for fire trucks and ambulances

What You Bring
-Exceptional oral and written communication, active listening, and organizational skills -Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment -Strong sense of urgency -Valid driver's license without major violations -Minimum of at least 1 year experience in customer-service related field -Self-directed and able to work independently, with minimal supervision -High School Diploma -Must have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to fuel growth and innovation -Must be a certified security officer in Washington, DC -Strong problem-solving, time management and communication skills -Ability to establish strong working relationships with others in team setting -Outgoing personality with ability to relate to diverse group of people and build/maintain strong relationships -Must be customer-focused and results-oriented -Must be highly credible and trustworthy, and operate with high degree of integrity
