Overview

Supervises maintenance staff and handles repairs for a residential community.

Tasks

-Solicit bids from contractors with approval from the Property Manager and Regional Maintenance Manager. -Maintain working knowledge of all maintenance programs and capital improvement projects. -Conduct and participate in weekly staff meetings. -Review third party property inspections to resolve maintenance repairs. -Complete monthly building and unit inspections to ensure property is maintained to operating standards. -Lead and manage a maintenance staff at the property on a day-to-day basis and perform as working supervisor when not supervising staff. -Assist in hiring, developing, training, and holding staff accountable to operating standards. -Responsible for preparing work schedules for maintenance staff and vendors to complete service requests, maintain the preventive maintenance program, and maintain overall curb appeal. -Participate in on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies.

What You Bring

-Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities. -EPA Certified -3-5 years of relevant work experience. -Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office. -High school diploma or GED equivalent. -1-3 years of supervisory experience. -Solid verbal and written communication skills. -General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance, and HVAC. -CPO Certified -CAMT certification. -Excellent customer service skills.
