Lead NGL commercial growth projects: analysis, negotiations, stakeholder coordination.

Tasks
-Provide peer mentorship to junior team members and analysts especially in the area of financial modelling -Lead origination efforts through identifying and providing insightful analysis on potential commercial growth opportunities including asset optimization, new projects, new service offerings, new commercial frameworks and margin-based opportunities. -Manage new projects and initiatives from inception to execution including framing up the opportunity, strategy recommendations, economic analysis, customer interaction, contract negotiations and working collaboratively with internal stakeholders. -Maintain strong relationships within the NGL and midstream infrastructure industry and leverage off those to continually monitor market changes and peer/competitor activities and identify opportunities related to IPLs NGL business -Build, maintain, understand and update economic inputs as they apply to various projects, communicate financial metrics to senior leadership and interpret how changes will impact project value drivers and risks

What You Bring
-Highly effective organization skills and attention to detail -Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with various internal and external stakeholders -Well-developed presentation, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are also required -Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills -Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate financial and business analysis -8+ years’ of midstream, or oil and gas industry experience in the Commercial Development / Business Development field; NGL experience considered favourable -Strong partnership relationship management skills -Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and execute to deliver results -Financial Modelling experience considered an asset -Completion of a university degree in business or economics -Experience negotiating and managing commercial and operating agreements
