Overview

Procure equipment, materials and services, manage suppliers and purchasing processes for projects.

Tasks

-Supplier sourcing and negotiations -Responsible for procurement to pay process from sourcing to assisting with invoice clearance -Maintain Procurement Schedules with project teams and planning function. -Secure the quality and timely delivery of goods and/or services required for assigned projects. -Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as sites and suppliers -Conduct site visits to meet with project teams. Some European travel required. -Conducting bid analysis and processing of purchase orders -Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities -Ensure that the Authority Matrix is followed stringently. -Assist in the reallocation or disposal of excess materials. -Purchase and hire equipment, materials and/or services for assigned projects. -Liaison with suppliers and accounts payable team regarding invoice queries -Create Procurement Schedules with project teams and planning function. -Planning and Organizing -Maintaining performance under pressure -Negotiate vendor alliances and rebate agreements.

What You Bring

-Work well as part of a team towards a common goal. -Experience in a similar role within an engineering or construction company. -Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. -Knowledge of Tool and plant for construction an advantage. -Organizational Awareness -Previous SAP experience. -Negotiating experience -A third level qualification preferably in supply chain or other related discipline. -Business Acumen
