Design UI graphics for building automation operator workstations.

Tasks

-Assist in identifying inefficiencies in the graphics creation process and to help develop solutions to improve efficiency. -Visualize and implement design solutions in a cost-efficient manner. -Use creative thinking to design new graphical assets when needed to improve the display of information. -Organize information from multiple sources and communicate with other teams or customers when further information is required for optimal accuracy. -Communicate with customers and service teams to improve the usability of the UI. -Occasionally create visual graphics to support the sales department. -Work individually or coordinate with team members to quickly complete larger projects on schedule. -Read/understand mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and controller databases to produce Graphical User Interfaces.

What You Bring

-Excellent time-management skills -The ability to visualize and implement design solutions quickly and cost efficiently. -High level of attention to detail -A strong understanding of the Adobe Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator) -Ability to communicate and work in teams -Understand the use of simple programming logic blocks or scripts to create dynamic data display and user interactions. -3D modelling/rendering and image editing/Photoshop experience is an asset. -The ability to work without supervision -A strong, clean visual design sense with an understanding of digital design fundamentals -Good customer relations skills -A strong understanding of web-based design/layouts/iconography
