Tasks

-Portfolio and Financial Management: Oversee the full lifecycle performance of a diverse energy asset portfolio—including embedded networks, solar, and battery systems—across retail, office, and commercial properties. -Financial Reporting and Analytics: monitor portfolio performance, deliver stakeholder reports, and lead financial planning across all managed assets. -Collaborate with Development and Construction teams to ensure seamless asset handover to Operations. -Portfolio growth including: Lead the integration of energy systems and operational assets into live environments. -Build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external clients & stakeholders. -Risk and Compliance- Ensure asset compliance across commercial, environmental, and energy regulations; conduct risk assessments; and drive ESG performance aligned with sustainability targets and industry standards. -Manage operations, compliance, and commercial performance of embedded networks, including tariffs, billing, metering, and regulatory requirements. -Develop and execute asset business plans aligned with strategic and operational goals. -Drive portfolio-wide renewable initiatives—such as solar and battery storage—to reduce costs and carbon emissions. -Act as Stakeholder & Commercial Energy Manager- Drive stakeholder engagement and commercial success across our energy portfolio. This role involves managing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), retailer negotiations, and regulatory compliance, while fostering strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and external part-ners—including property managers, consultants, tenants, utilities, and government bodies—to meet operational and financial objectives.

What You Bring

-Understanding of retail energy pricing, billing systems, and compliance frameworks (AER/NER) -Knowledge of ESG reporting and green building standards such as NABERS and Green Star -Familiarity with distributed energy resources and energy management practices -Exposure to Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and renewable energy investments -Proven experience with embedded energy networks and understanding of relevant regulations and technologies -Highly disciplined and organised, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet critical deadlines, and deliver against program milestones in dynamic environments. -Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and data analysis. -Excellent organisational skills written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across technical and non-technical audiences. -Thrives in high-pressure environments, with a proven ability to pivot and work in an agile workplace. -Tertiary qualification in business, finance, or property-related discipline. -Proven ability and record in managing P&L for income-generating assets, with strong commercial acumen. -Minimum 8-10 years demonstrated experience in managing commercial real estate and energy assets within complex portfolios.
