Tasks

-Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Provide leadership and strategy in subcontractor and vendor selection process. -Analyzing drawings and specifications to understand the scope of the work. -Communicating and presenting detailed estimates to executive management and clients. -Reviewing and assisting with proposals and other documentation to prepare cost estimates. -Implement and adhere to company policies and procedures. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Leading a team of estimators and engineers in pursuits to get the work at the right price.

-Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment -Task management, strategies, resource leveling, and estimate close out processes. -Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time. -Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Ability to lead estimates and multiple teams. -Undergraduate degree in construction management, construction engineering, or other engineering disciplines. -Become proficient in Kiewit’s estimating program, “InEight Estimate”. -Regular, reliable attendance -At least 5 years of estimating experience required -Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
