The Role

Overview

Concrete lab technician conducts sampling, testing, equipment calibration, and reporting.

Tasks

-Follow Inspection and Test Plans to carry out production and compliance testing and, -Conduct sampling of concrete samples onsite -Calibrate laboratory equipment as required. -Maintain, observe, and take part in the statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operations -Conduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions and manuals. -Maintenance of the laboratory in accordance with NATA accreditation requirements.

What You Bring

-Knowledge or experience in Aggregates testing an advantage -An ability to cope with competing priorities and deadlines -Experience as a concrete field tester is desirable -In-depth knowledge of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data (especially with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc). -Knowledge of Australian and Industry standards -Good time management and organisational skills -Current driver's license tool of trade vehicle provided -Experience within a construction-based trade is desirable
