The Senior Commercial Overhead Door / Senior Garage Door Technician in the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio and Northern Kentucky regional area will serve our commercial and industrial customers. This role requires an incredible attention to detail and knowledge of best practices in garage door and man door installation, repair, and maintenance. Career Opportunity: Sr. Commercial Overhead Door / Sr. Garage Door Technician with tdgFacilities in Cincinnati, Ohio -Basic computing skills, including the ability to modify and monitor work order management system -Adept at installing door operators, specialty doors, dock equipment, and gate systems -Ability to use and maintain equipment and job-related tooling safely and properly -Strong mechanical aptitude -Ability to develop estimates and bids for project work, including time, manpower, and materials required -High degree of safety awareness -Ability to maintain detailed and complete records of maintenance, repair, and testing activities -2+ years’ experience in Commercial Door Services preferred -Knowledge of overhead and man door preventative maintenance and inspections -Skilled at developing and maintaining client relationships including participation in client meetings -Aptitude for maintaining truck stock and inventory within company guidelines -Must be able to pass background checks, drug screening -Keen eye for detail and highly organized -Excellent time management skills -Experience in diagnosing, repairing, and replacing a variety of door related components -Experienced with commercial overhead, commercial sectional, and commercial rolling steel doors, high speed doors, commercial operators, etc. -Experience in servicing and installing overhead doors -Effective communication skills -Ability to both lead a team, and work independently -Self-motivated and results oriented -Ability to self-manage and perform each essential duty beyond satisfaction -Able to service and install commercial and residential overhead doors / garage doors / man doors -General building maintenance (basic electrical, general carpentry, and painting experience a plus)
