The Role
Overview
Ensures product quality by inspecting work‑in‑progress and finished goods.

Tasks
-Examines products for quality defects. -Performs finished goods inspection of packaged products. -Maintains clean and safe working area/working environment in line with company policies. -Comply with company safety policies and PPE requirements -Complete all assignments with accuracy, neatness and thoroughness. -May be tasked to assist in the training of new employees &/or methods. -Rejects nonconforming materials and products and provides proper documentation and notification in support of inspection. -Generate emails and other communications. -QA Inspections can include the use of calipers, micrometers and other inspection tools and gauges. -Detects and reports unsafe conditions, equipment or situations. -Performs Quality Assurance (QA) Inspection on work-in-progress, and finished products to determine conformance with established specifications. -Work closely with all personnel in a safe and respectful manner to achieve quality and production goals. -Observe all company work rules, policies and procedures to ensure optimum safety and successful attainment of task objectives. -Enter results of QA inspections into record system(s). -Maintain harmonious working relationships with team members, co-workers and other departments.

What You Bring
-Strong safety orientation -Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred -Manual dexterity -Ability to work independently -There may be bending, stooping, stretching, reaching or carrying of light items such as papers, books small parts, etc. No special physical demands other than an average amount of dexterity are required to perform the work. -Attention to detail -High school diploma/GED strongly preferred. -Lifting of up to 45 lbs. Required lifting or sliding trays and boxes of filled cartridges during inspection activities. -Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with different departments -Must be able to follow standard work instructions -Analytical and problem-solving skills
