IT Support Engineer (1st/2nd Line)

Overview

1st/2nd line IT support for manufacturing, sales network, hardware/software and server admin.

Tasks

-Documenting fixes and helping build internal knowledge bases -Handling installation, upgrades and system maintenance tasks -Initial point of contact for users -Supporting Microsoft 365 and device management through Intune and Endpoint Manager -Supporting the administration of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and user permissions -Troubleshooting and resolving common and reoccurring issues under the guidance of the senior support staff

What You Bring

-Experience in a 1st or 2nd line support role -Clear communicator who can explain issues in a straightforward way -A basic understanding of networking including routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs and firewalls -Strong knowledge of general helpdesk support e.g. MS365 user support, installing hardware/software, troubleshooting issues
