About the Role
The current opening is for a Journeyman Carpenter to join a national maintenance and construction organization. The role involves traveling to full‑time commercial construction projects throughout the United States, performing renovations, build‑outs, and related tasks. Candidates must be able to work overtime, on‑call, and overnight shifts when required. • Perform commercial renovations and buildouts nationwide. • Prepare job proposals, quotes, and detailed repair documentation. • Follow OSHA 10‑hour safety standards on all sites. • Communicate professionally with customers to build relationships. • Work overtime, on‑call, and overnight shifts as needed. • Install partition framing, metal/wood studs, cabinetry, countertops, doors, and windows. • Paint interior and exterior surfaces. • Install VCT, LVT, tile, carpet squares, and cove base flooring. • Conduct basic plumbing tasks such as sink, faucet, toilet, and drainage installations. • Perform electrical work including fixture, switch, outlet installation and minor troubleshooting. • Provide own basic construction hand tools.

What You Bring
Applicants should have at least three years of experience in construction or commercial maintenance and be proficient in carpentry, framing, cabinetry, painting, and flooring installation. Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical work is also required, with licensed plumbers and electricians encouraged to apply. OSHA 10‑hour certification is mandatory, either prior to hire or within three months of employment, and personal hand tools must be supplied. • Minimum three years of construction or commercial maintenance experience. • Hold OSHA 10‑hour certification or obtain within 3 months (employer‑paid).
