About the Role
As a member of the Rolls‑Royce field service team, you will support business‑aviation customers by delivering on‑wing and off‑wing engine maintenance and repair, occasionally reporting to the Indianapolis repair station. The role requires compliance with maintenance scope instructions, performing engine changes, maintaining repair‑station inspection approvals, interfacing with customers, lifting up to 50 lb, using troubleshooting logic and technical manuals, and applying Service Bulletins, FAA Advisory Directives and Technical Variances. • Perform on‑wing and off‑wing engine maintenance, including engine changes. • Obtain and maintain repair‑station inspection approvals. • Interface directly with customers to address service needs. • Apply troubleshooting using AMM, EMM, IPC and related technical data. • Interpret and implement Service Bulletins, FAA Advisory Directives, and Technical Variances.

What You Bring
The Field Technician III position is a full‑time role based in Indianapolis or Greenfield, Indiana, offering a first‑shift (7 am‑3:30 pm, Mon‑Fri) or second‑shift (3 pm‑1:30 am, Mon‑Thu) schedule with up to 20 % domestic and international travel. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED with at least three years of aircraft maintenance experience (or an associate degree with two years), possess an FAA Airframe & Powerplant license, be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and pass FAA‑mandated background and drug screenings. Preferred qualifications include prior Rolls‑Royce gas‑turbine experience, FAR‑145 repair‑station background, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. • Lift up to 50 lb and pass required eye examination. • Hold FAA Airframe & Powerplant license and meet experience thresholds (3 yr HS/GED or 2 yr associate degree). • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and pass FAA/DOT background and drug tests. • Preferred: prior Rolls‑Royce gas‑turbine or FAR‑145 repair‑station experience; basic Microsoft Word/Excel skills.
