About the Role

The role involves coordinating the full lifecycle of Recoverable Works Agreements, engaging with third parties, overseeing project execution, and ensuring smooth handover. You will work closely with internal teams to embed operational requirements into project scopes and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation. The Gas West Asset Engineering and Project Delivery team provides engineering and project services to ensure reliable, safe operation of APA’s Gas West assets, supporting the company’s broader business strategy and value creation for customers. • Act as primary point of contact for all third‑party recoverable works and engagements, ensuring AS 2885 compliance. • Prepare cost estimates and coordinate pipeline integrity works according to APA policies and standards. • Review and endorse third‑party designs and construction methods for safety, technical and regulatory compliance. • Manage third‑party interfaces and activities to protect APA personnel, assets and operational integrity. • Collaborate with Operations & Maintenance, Corridor Integrity and experts to embed operational requirements into project scopes. • Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including standards, procedures, safe work practices and monitoring regimes for pipeline assets.

What You Bring

Successful candidates will have a solid engineering background with knowledge of AS 2885 and relevant standards, experience in pipeline engineering and commissioning, and strong project‑management skills. They must be able to develop detailed designs, manage budgets, create safe work practices, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. APA is an equal‑opportunity employer. The role closes on 22 February 2026 (Reference JR3791). • Possess a sound engineering background with knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements, including AS 2885. • Demonstrate experience in pipeline engineering and infrastructure commissioning, with budget preparation and variance management. • Show proven project‑management capability to deliver pipeline engineering projects on schedule, cost and quality. • Ability to develop preliminary and detailed mechanical and pipeline designs aligned with scope and requirements. • Experience creating engineering procedures, safe work practices and monitoring regimes for safe pipeline delivery. • Exhibit strong collaboration and stakeholder‑engagement skills with cross‑functional and external partners.
