About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will oversee cost estimates and operational aspects of transmission and distribution electrical construction projects for L.E. Myers, a long‑standing subsidiary of MYR Group. The role requires preparing construction schedules, managing day‑to‑day project activities, serving as the primary contact for personnel, coordinating meetings, producing progress reports, monitoring job costs, and delivering accurate cost estimates. • Prepare and maintain project construction schedules. • Submit RFIs and manage day‑to‑day project activities. • Act as main point‑of‑contact for project personnel and coordinate client meetings. • Produce look‑ahead documents, weekly/monthly progress reports, and billing information. • Review and monitor job costs against budgets. • Develop complete labor and material cost estimates and bills of material. • Conduct field take‑offs, walk‑downs, and constructability assessments. • Assist in change order preparation and coordinate with project management. • Ensure regular attendance and compliance with company code of conduct.

What You Bring

Candidates must bring more than ten years of project management and estimating experience in the electrical sector, at least two years in transmission and distribution, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience. Required skills include proficiency with specifications, NEC and local codes, reading multidisciplinary plans, Microsoft Office, and schedule software such as Project or Primavera, along with strong analytical and communication abilities. • 10+ years project management and estimating experience in electrical industry. • 2+ years experience specific to transmission and distribution. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Knowledge of NEC, local codes, and ability to interpret civil, architectural, structural, mechanical plans. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling tools (MS Project/Primavera). • Strong analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently, travel regularly to field sites, and collaborate with diverse partners.
